International Student Successes of Bishop's Stortford College
The latest edition of the attached College Connection newsletter features some of the many successes achieved by students over the past two terms, including a number of our international students. In particular, Grigalius Taujanskas from Lithuania secured a conditional place at Trinity Hall, Cambridge to read Maths and Physics; Tony Ip from Hong Kong won the College’s 2011 Instrumental Music Competition and Marija Krasnopjorova from Latvia was awarded second prize in the German section of a national essay competition.
Prize-giving took place at the end of the summer term and it was wonderful to see fifteen of our international students receiving awards for academic and musical achievements. Our congratulations to them all.
In particular, you will be pleased to know that students placed by Education & Learning Services received the following awards:
Tina Chung | Year prizes for Mathematics and Psychology Harvard Prize for Academic Excellence |
Rocky Wan | Choir prize |
Bryan Chung | Form prize for Progress |
