独立学校 (即传统寄宿学校)

Independent School
  • 英国约有2,300所独立学校包括私立及政府。大部份均设有学生宿舍，由学校直接负责监管。独立学校招收日生及寄宿生，亦分为男校、女校或男女校。
  • 学术: 独立学校拥有悠久的优质教学制度，带领学生踏上成功之路，获取高等学术水平。于独立学校就读之考生平均考取A Level分数为350分。
  • 小班教学及个别照顾: 相比起其他类型的学校，独立学校每班的人数较小，通常为8-13人。学生可得到贴身的监理及指导，遇到学术上的困难或错误，导师都可留意到及作出更正和协助。
  • 传统教学: 独立学校的导师及职员细心关怀学生，常用鼓励和赞赏的方式促进学生们加倍努力，学习良好的礼仪，懂得与人相处及关心别人，成为一个有责任感及对社会有贡献的成功人士。
  • 拥有基础深厚的教学背景: 独立学校的宗旨在于培养学生的智力发展、品格、创作力、实践、体能，以及学术方面的发展。音乐、美术、体育及戏剧方面的才能亦能崭放。

International Foundation Programme
